Cannot clean up file history

I am trying to do this as I realized too late that my old backups filled up the entire drive. I am wondering if anyone else has had this problem on Windows 11 and how did you fix it?

WebMar 7, 2024 · Although in Advanced Settings there is a "Clean up versions" option, it does not let you delete the last version. To delete everything you need to go to the backup drive and delete manually the folder named FileHistory, where are stored all File History backup. There is no problem in just deleting it.
