Web20 de mar. de 2024 · The OPCW is authorized to perform inspections to verify that signatory states are complying with the convention, which includes a commitment to grant inspectors full access to chemical weapons sites and a common pledge to destroy all stocks of chemical weapons. WebThe OPCW inspectors are trained to conduct on-site inspections to verify the facility’s compliance to the provisions of the Convention. These inspectors are recruited from different Member States. They are employed solely by the OPCW on a contractual basis and represent the OPCW during each inspection mission to the inspected Member State.
