It is not part of the C standard library or ISO C, nor is it defined by POSIX. Like these functions, getch () also reads a single character from the keyboard. Webb15 mars 2024 · You have curses (getch() etc), buffered C I/O (puts, getchar, printf etc) and direct system calls (read() etc). I would stick to one or the other. Both curses and buffered C have there own buffers within your program. So when you call curses getch() it will automatically update the screen first, but it wont flush the printf buffer - and vice versa.
